From Washington D.C. take Rt. 495 (Capitol Beltway) toward I-270 West. Take I-270 to the I-270/I-70 merge at Frederick MD. Take the exit for "Rt. 340 West: Harpers Ferry / Charlestown WV". Then follow directions below for "From Frederick"
From Baltimore MD. Take Rt. 695 (Baltimore Beltway OUTER Loop) toward I-70. Take I-70 to Frederick. Take the exit at Frederick for "Rt. 340 West: Harpers Ferry / Charlestown WV". Then follow directions below for "From Frederick"
From Hagerstown. Take the Dual Highway east. Merge onto I-70 East. Approaching Frederick look for and take the exit for "Rt. 340 West: Harpers Ferry / CharlestownWV". Then follow directions below for "From Frederick"
From Frederick. Take Rt. 340 West toward Harpers Ferry / Charlestown WV. Follow Rt. 340 for several miles until you come to an exit for "Rt. 17 Brunswick/Burkettsville". Take the exit, there should be a McDonalds and a Sheetz to the left of Rt. 340 at this spot. Turn left onto Rt. 17 and follow it through a traffic circle. Continue on Rt. 17 for about 1 mile and you will come to a traffic light. Follow Rt. 17 as it turns to the right just before the light and becomes Rt. 17/Petersville Rd. Continue on Rt. 17/Petersville Rd. until you come to a second traffic circle. Take the Maryland Avenue exit from this circle. You will see two brick buildings - the Museum is the building on the left with white window decoration.
