Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27: Victorian Christmas. Enjoy Victorian Christmas decorations, music, crafts, and storytelling at the Brunswick Railroad Museum. Don’t forget to visit our 1700 square foot model railroad!

A Night at the Museum

Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5: A Night at the Brunswick Railroad Museum. Join museum staff and volunteers dressed in period attire for an evening of ghostly tales and local legends in the candlelit halls of the Brunswick Railroad Museum. Tour starts at 8 pm and lasts approximately one hour. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for students with ID or children under age 13. Children under age 5 are free. Reservations are required. Vintage Fashion Show

Saturday, September 17: Vintage Fashion Show at the Kaplon building. Join us for some vintage haute couture in the historic Kaplon building! BRRM will be showcasing some fabulous vintage and reproduction clothing and accessories, spanning the decades from the 1930s through the early 1960s, including an original silk dress by Hattie Carnegie, one of the mid twentieth century’s most important designers. Show starts at 2 pm.

General Meeting

All members of the museum are invited to attend a meeting of the general membership of the Brunswick Railroad Museum.  The meeting will be held at the Museum, which is located at 40 W. Potomac St., Brunswick, MD 21716 at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 19.

One object of this organization is to create and sustain a permanent museum depicting the history of the area, and to conduct fund-raising activities to help support the museum and to carry out other objectives. The organization shall be composed of all persons paying a membership fee. It is with the valuable input of its membership that the organization carries out its mission statement to tell the story of Brunswick, past to present, through dynamic programs and presentations, for history lovers and rail fans of all ages.

Even if you are not a member, we would certainly ask you to consider joining and attending.  Your help is needed and appreciated!

Seeking Vintage Clothing and Models!

The Brunswick Railroad Museum is seeking any original or reproduction women’s clothing and accessories from the 1910s through the 1960s for use in their vintage fashion show, to be held on Saturday, September 17 from 2 pm until 3:30 pm in conjuction with Brunswick Main Street’s Women’s Wine and Chocolate Walk. The museum is also seeking women and girls ages 14 years and up to model in the show. Four practices will be held during the month of August to prepare for the show.
